Today marks the first day of April, April Fools Day, and most importantly Easter Sunday. I hope that those of you of the Christian faith were blessed during service this morning.
While Easter marks the resurrection of Christ, it also marks another Hallmark Holiday, raking in almost $20 billion annually. Between the baskets, peep marshmallows (which are gross btw), fake grass, and eggs hunts, I thought I’d share with you my Easter Sunday OOTD.
The weather is warming up so the brighter and lighter colors are here to stay. Pastels! You can never go wrong with pastel tones or Easter. I am wearing a previously purchased cream colored H&M blouse, pink ruffle trousers from ZARA, and some shoes that hurt so bad I actually forgot where I purchased them from. I kept my jewelry pretty simple with a rose gold Marc Jacobs watch and my rings and bracelet from ASOS. I’m loving my hair and makeup by Deola’s Touch!
I love this look because it’s bright but not obnoxious. Also, the outfit is perfect for the 60 degree weather we are having here in Maryland. The blouse is light weight and airy, but the long sleeves provide a little bit of warmth if you need it.
I hope the bright colors remind you, at least a little bit, of an Easter egg hunt, and more importantly, that warm weather is around the corner.
While you may be currently distracted as you overdose on chocolates, be sure to stay tuned in for some spring inspired work wear in the coming weeks!
Thanks so much for reading.
